The walls of The Devil’s Backbone Tavern hold a lot of good stories. Why not make your next event one of them? Whether you’re lookin’ to get hitched or just throw a party that your friends or colleagues won’t soon forget, we’ve got the spot you’re looking for. On our property you’ll find four unique spaces, each restored with careful detail to preserve its Tex-ccentricity.

The Devil’s Backbone Tavern- Texas’ oldest dive bar. Once an 1800’s stagecoach stop, our little bar started serving during the prohibition era, and hasn’t stopped yet.

The Dance Hall- True Texas dance halls are an endangered species, and we’re proud home to one. Built in the 1940’s and recently restored, this space is the perfect spot to both two-step and take your next big step.

The Sinclair Gas Station - Our restored 1940’s Sinclair gas station makes a great spot for company parties, and wedding party hangs. It hosts three bars, so you can be sure none of your guests leave with an empty tank.

The Velvet Pearl - Our 1930’s cottage sits up on a hill behind the tavern, and walking through the doors is a blast from the past. It’s a great space for wedding party hangs, photoshoots, and a quick nap before you need to rally.
