Musician, bass player, cool guy, and co-owner of the Tavern. He makes the bar come alive every morning with his attention and LOVE. He tackles the good, the bad and the ugly and puts up with an ALL FEM staff.
When not at the Tavern, you can catch John traveling and playing music with his wife with Robyn.

First meet our media coordinator, Alice Loayza. Alice is a social media marketing genius and talented photographer who takes all of our beautiful Tavern photos and vids, including the staff photos we’ll be revealing this week. Alice also photographs for many other Central Texas musicians, as well as the Ameripolitan Awards. When she’s not snapping photos, you can catch her riding her motorcycle like the badass babe she is. 💋
Robyn ludwick

Our matriarch and co-owner of our beloved Tavern. Robyn, along with her husband John, are the visionaries who brought the Backbone back to life
She has curated the family of loyal and happy Backbone staff you all have come to know and love. Robyn is a Texas Singer-Songwriter, Mom, and kid sister of Charlie & Bruce Robison. When she doesn’t have her hands full trying to keep us all in line, she somehow manages to be a civil engineer as well.

administrative coordinator/ bar lead
Meet Hannah, our spunky administrator coordinator and bar lead. She may look sweet & innocent but think twice… Hannah is a dedicated and motivated service industry professional dating all the way back to 2010, and also has a passion for travel… and also obviously is a cutie patootie!
When she’s not serving the tavern locals, you can find Hannah galavanting around and enjoying God’s beautiful creation. She loves being outside especially on the water with friends and family, piña coladas, and getting caught in the rain.

General Manager / Program Director
Bar Manager, Booking Babe, and Boss B*tch. Jess keeps our bar well-stocked and well-staffed and manages all of the incredible shows we have here. She’s capable of pouring a double and stopping a bar fight at the same time.
When she’s not babysitting all of ya’ll at the Tavern, you can find this true Texan stunner riding horses, being an incredible mom, hanging at the beach, and hiking.

Legacy Marketing Director
Jenny is a force in Texas Music, Texas Women in Music and holds steady as one of the most talented music professionals in this great State. She goes to the mat to protect the core and foundation of our creative community and is fearless when it comes to what she believes in. Her laugh and smile are THE BEST. We are SO lucky to have her. AKA “BBj in the front and Swampy in the back” <wink>
